According to the founders of the German brand Flip*flop, in business it is important to come up with a good idea at a right time. At the beginning of the 1990s, together with the advent of new political and socio-economic order, the world also became ready for changes in fashion. Modern classic was in the lead. On the wave of these changes was born the idea to produce simple sandals with a strap between toes, that today are commonly referred to as flip-flops. Flip*flop launched its first flip-flops in 1998. Colorful and made from high quality materials, they quickly won many fans, and Flip*flop brand started to develop at a rapid pace. Today, besides traditional flip-flops, the company offers other types of footwear, women’s clothing (including clothes for people practising yoga) and accessories: bags, toilet bags, belts, caps and scarves and yoga mats.
