Stuart Weitzman

is a German brand producing luxury women’s footwear and bags. Stuart Weitzman began his adventure with shoes in the 1960s, creating his first pairs of women’s shoes for Mr. Seymour Company that was owned by his father. Seymour Weitzman died in 1965, and a few years later his sons sold the brand to the Spaniards. However, the passion to design shoes was stronger, and in 1994 Stuart Weitzman bought back the company, and the Spaniards were only responsible for matters related to production. To this day, the Spaniards describe Stuart Weitzman as „como el zapatero de las estrellas”, i.e. “the shoemaker of stars” such as Angelina Jolie, Eva Méndez, Eva Longoria and Kate Winslet, who wore Weitzman’s shoes on the red carpet during the Academy Awards ceremony. This fact already proves that Stuart Weitzman shoes are unusual – to make them designers use unique materials such as cork, vinyl and 24-carat gold. Stuart Weitzman shoes, as the brand’s designers maintain, reflect the well-being and beauty of every woman. The brand’s face is a Russian model and actress, Natalia Vodianova.
